And I have an interesting connection to The Legend of Sleepy Hollow . . . <br /><br />Washington Irving used to hang out in my hometown of Kinderhook, NY. Folks here say that he wrote the story about our town but then changed the name at the last minute. (Sleepy Hollow is a "newer" town, just down the road.) Many things in my town were named after the story--including the Ichabod Crane High School that I graduated from, where our mascot was a Rider, and the Rip Van Winkle Bridge which spans the nearby Hudson River. <br /><br />And I also just finished The Mountains Bow Down.
